Are there other methods of repairing the chip? That’s a chipped bezel, not a case. It should be able to be laser welded and it can be replaced. That being said, I really wouldn’t bother. This is essentially normal wear and tear. Dings and scratches on an Explorer mean you’re using it properly.

I'm thinking to let go my DJ 41, but several months ago I dropped it accidentally thus creating this deep scratched/chipped on the bezel, hopefully, you guys can all see it from these photos. Anyone know if this type of thing can be easily polished?So it looks like a chip on the aluminum bezel insert which is easily replaced yourself (takes 5 minutes and some courage) or Rolex if/when you need a service. How do I solve this small chip off the casing beside the crown of my 16710. Can this be polished away professionally? I don't ever recall knocking my rolex on anything.
