It is ONLY compatible with Prusa i3 MK3 / MK3S / MK3S+. E3D hotend kit / assembly works with any printer that uses the E3D V6 design. Comes as a kit that needs to be assembled. Included are the thermistor, heater cartridge and 0.40mm nozzle. Instructions available from E3D-Online.It features a Prusa-specific heatbreak with custom internal geometry, providing more reliability with retractions when using the MMU. Ships with a Prusa specific thermistor with a pre-prepared extension cable for a drop-in replacement experience. After chatting with tech support, I was told that the hotend for the mk3 i3 is an E3D v6.1 which is the E3D v6 but with a custom modification for Prusa. I think this is due to the filament sensor but not sure.
